Mrs. Caitlin Teson
EducationHello! My name is Caitlin Teson and I am a 1st grade teacher for the Park Hill School District. This will be my 8th year of teaching first grade. Time flies when you are having fun!
I graduated from the University of Missouri in 2010 with my Bachelors in Communication Science and Disorders. I graduated from Ottawa University with my teaching license in 2012. I received my Master's in Educational Theory and Practice from Arkansas State University in 2016. I am currently working on my Education Specialist in Technology in the Classroom from the University of Missouri in Columbia.
I am extremely proud of the dedication I have put into my career as a First Grade Teacher for the Park Hill School District. I have been recognized as a Park Hill Star Teacher and have served on various Curriculum Writing Teams for the district. I had the honor of attending the Teacher's College Reading and Writing Project in New York City. I currently serve as a Studio Classroom for my District.
I am a huge advocate of education and a bigger advocate for the importance of human connection when it comes to learning. Take a look at my personal beliefs in regards to education:
FamilyI have been married to my lovely husband Chris Teson for 6 years and we have two boys named Daniel and Bennett Teson. Daniel is 5 years old and Bennett is 2 years old. Here is a fun fact! Both boys were born on St. Patrick's Day exactly 3 years apart!
Both my husband and I are big Mizzou Fans and Royals Fans. We try to attend as many football and baseball games as possible. As a family, we love to travel every summer. Our favorite place to vacation as a family is Branson, Missouri. Our future plans as a family is to get a family pet dog. One thing is for sure, it will be a girl dog! This mama is outnumbered!
